The Elkhorn Dining Room is located at Simpson's Num-Ti Jah Lodge and offers menu items created from fresh, local ingredients that are often organic. This fully-licensed restaurant specializes in Canadian cuisine. The lodge is located 40 km north of Lake Louise on Highway 93.
The restaurant at Deer Lodge in Lake Louise serves exquisite dishes that can best be described as Canadian Rockies cuisine. When possible, they use regional cuisine and even use their own farm-raised elk, caribou and bison. The menu changes seasonally but could include dishes such as buffalo ribeye steak, elk striploin with yam hash, and butternut squash ravioli. Taste a bit of history at the Emerald Lake Lodge dining room. The menu is inspired by the decadent meals presented on CPR rail cars in the Victorian era and Swiss and Austrian mountain guides to create dishes that use the best of regional foods. Specialties include elk sirloin, rack of lamb with potato waffle and truffle butter, grilled caribou with goat cheese gratin and grilled buffalo ribeye with herb spatzle.
