Rich wood panelling and old-world decor with massive arched windows create an elegant alpine atmosphere at this Chateau Lake Louise Restaurant. The cuisine is centered around Swiss fondues. Traditional cheese fondues are comprised of Gruyere, Emmentaler, Appenzeller cheeses blended with Kirsch and white wine. Variations have truffle oil or roasted garlic and porcinni mushrooms. Meat and seafood fondues may include beef tenderloin, bison tenderloin, ahi tuna, salmon and scallops. Raclettes and other entrees, such as the mixed grill or veal, is also available. A variety of decadent desserts are served but the most popular is the Essential Walliser Stube Chocolate Fondue.
