Enjoy sites such as glaciers, moraines, vaulting peaks, avalanche paths and high mountain wildlife like marmots and pikas.
The teahouse is a historic building, built of stone and timber in 1924 by the first mountain guides in the area, the Swiss. The viewpoint beyond the teahouse provides stunning views and is certainly worth the extra effort, before or after lunch.
There are horses sharing the trail and it can be very hot in the valley on sunny summer days. Start early to avoid the people and the heat.
