Rates: CAD $160 - $180 pp/night — Situated amidst glaciated mountain peaks and high alpine meadows, the lodge provides seasonal accommodation for cross-country skiers and hikers. Private log cabins feature two double beds with feather duvets, propane heaters, wash basin area and solar powered lighting. Licensed dining, afternoon tea and Mountain Gourmet meals. Outside porch with log furniture. Twenty km (12.5 mi) W of Banff on Hwy 1, find the trailhead at Red Earth Creek parking lot. The trail is 14 km (9mi) to the lodge. Access by foot or cross-country ski. Guided access can be arranged.
